    Are males dumber?

Seriously, my black pastel male tries to eat mice sideways and loses them in his water bowl; my pied male won't eat anything larger than his head; my het lavender boy is scared of EVERYTHING; and my het pied males poison their water supply on a regular basis, and fall off of tables because they think they can crawl down vertical surfaces.

Meanwhile my super mojave female actually CAN chimney up vertical surfaces, as long as there's a corner she can wedge herself into. My het lavender female has figured out how to climb the staircase, and my black pastel female routinely outsmarts me by hiding in stereo equipment when I'm answering the phone. FOR EXAMPLE.

Anybody else have a problem with dumb males and too-smart females, or is it only me?

Hahaha, my male spider, Tahssa, is a victim of the 'Hey, I can totally climb down this vertical surface. -3 seconds later- AHHH NEVERMIND I'M GONNA DIE wait no, she caught me... I'll just try again in a couple minutes.' scenario.

I always figured he just thought he was part gecko.

I have noticed that a bunch of my males have tried to eat their food sideways...or sometimes they'll eat it backwards. I've never had any of my females do that though.

This is so weird. The one we think is a female eats normally and our "male" eats his sideways and backwards. His nickname is "dum dum" for a reason. Glad to hear ours isn't the only one that is a few tools short of a shed.
