    Unprinted Newspaper the easy way

Now I'm a newspaper guy when it comes to bedding for my ball python collection. It's cheap, changes out fast, absorbent, and easily obtainable. The only bad part is newspaper can stain your hands and lighter colored snakes. I've used so much that the door of my snake room has newspaper finger prints all over it, lol. Well, for me, I found the easiest way to get unprinted newspaper was to go to my local U-Haul and pick up a few boxes. They actually got me out in 5 minutes by scanning my credit card, telling me my total and emailing me my receipt so I didn't have to wait in line with people returning rentals

I paid $8.80 for a box of 140 sheets of clean newsprint and no shipping The best part is the length is a perfect fit for a CB-70 tub which is probably the most popular tub for adult ball pythons.
Here is how easily it lays out in the CB-70 tub.

    Just fold it over

and flip it over so seam faces down and you are good to go!

I use two sheets per CB-70 tub for better absorbancy but with smaller tubs one sheet is fine as you fold it up more.

Your albinos will love you for it

I'm kind of confused . You are a newspaper guy but you use aspen. This is exactly the same as printed paper without the ink yet you say its not as absorbent?

For anyone in the military that has the government pay for professionally packed moves...the paper they wrap your stuff in is the exact same. Every year or two, I end up with TONS of the stuff!

ULINE also sells the stuff. I tried some contractors heavy paper for my snakes right now. It's more like the stuff your brown paper grocery bags are made of. It is a bit thick but it is super great. I think I might keep using this stuff instead of newsprint.

    Regards,

    B
