Wink The incredible gore caused by a juvie Nicaraguan boa bite

So I had Judith out yesterday, not really paying attention much. She decided it was time to go, so she slithered out of one of my hands, then freaked herself out and bit my thigh Here's the ensuing damage. I don't know how I'm going to live!

This afternoon I tried to take all the snakes out for a photoshoot in the nice warm weather, where she proceeded to try to bite me again, but she' didn't succeed. I guess she still hasn't gotten used to being handled since I went away for 10 days. But in her defense, feeding day had to be postponed for three days (until tomorrow) because my freezer died and I lost all my f/t rats, so I don't blame her. I'm pretty cranky when I'm hungry too

I just find it kind of funny because I had just finished posting on another thread that although she looks like she always wants to bite me, she's never actually bitten me figures!

The thought of her "freaking herself out" made me laugh. My Normal male BP does that constantly when I take him out because he hadn't been handled in years.
What a shame about your rats though. Hopefully you did not lose too much money because of that.

Haha well that's pretty much what she did lol. She made it so that she had to balance on basically two of my fingers xD

And thanks, luckily I was nearing the end of almost all of the rat sizes, and the guy I get them from charges about a buck fifty each, so it wasn't so bad.

Hey im a doctor. Heres my professional assessment:

It looks like you have deep tissue punctures. Based on the size id say it must have come from a 30 foot snake. the fangs must have been at least 10 inches long. Id seek medical treatment immediately. Id also recommend getting anti venom treatment incase the snake was POISONOUS ()

    Lol. K. im done

LOL actually, it was more like 50 foot, and it even sucked some of my blood, as these snakes tend to do. I'd say at least 4 gallons xD This made me smile lol
