    Famous Friends

    Good Evening, all!

I was thinking it'd be fun to know if any of you out there have famous friends or have ever been associated with anyone who is now famous.

Here's mine: Went to junior high with Kim Caldwell (a girl that lost on American Idol but later became miss TV guide, hah). Good friends with the artist who is responsible for Adult Swim TV shows (creating Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters and background art, Squidbillies background art.. along with past employment at major networks) My husband is an ex-bmx rider and made friends with a lot of pro bmx guys. He was never pro. He didn't want to pay for further injuries!

    So? Anybody else?

This could get interesting! Peyton Manning knows (or at least used to know) me by name...I used to caddy for him during the summers. Not really a friend but hey!

I went to school with and graduated from High School with Frank Calliendo. He played on the baseball team. He wasn't that funny back then.

Yeah, same here with Kimberly Caldwell - she intimidated the heck out of me. She was a blonde bombshell at 15. I knew her, never knew her well.

My ex (still a good friend) was in a local band years ago that opened for Cradle Of Filth. We kept in touch with a couple of them. Our keyboardist (I was in the stage show a couple times and at every show & practice) danced on stage with Cradle and Dimmu Borgir every time either of those bands came to Chicago.

My first cousin is Mike Alstott. He's famous for playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His parents live right behind me. We went to the same highschool. He was our paper boy back in the day.

I don't personally know any movie stars though. I have a cousin who was an Olympic swimmer and another who was a professional bowler who was on TV quite often.

    That's about it lol!

    Re: Famous Friends

This is probably inappropriate, but I have met a few adult film stars.
I even kissed Jessica Jaymes. Like a peck.
And only because I could say I did.

    lol

Oh and I'm long time personal friends with a magician/mentalist who does shows in Vegas but I doubt anyone here would know him. His stage name is Israel Mandrake.

Not really famous people but my dad and uncles were friends with every city official in my area including secretary of state, Mayor, and some judges.. That really helped when I got my drivers license and would get tickets lol!

i used to live in west chester pa. drank a lot of beer with the guys from jackass. johnny knoxville is as funny in person as he is/was on jackass and bam is an even bigger DB in real life. ryan dunn is probably one of the nicest people youll ever meet.

    thats about it.

During college i had personal pitching instructors, one being Pat Hentgen and another being the Tigers pitching coach still to this day, Rick Knapp.

Ive met a lot of MLB players when i was in Tigers training camp and be came friends with a few who are in the pros now and some in the minors. Fun time in Florida that few weeks I will never forget.
