    Yellow mark on BP's belly

Anybody know what this may be, or have a ball python with a similar mark?
Nergal, my normal, has a yellow "splotch" on his belly near his vent, and the same color appears randomly on some parts of his sides, but not as much as it stands out as in this ring on his belly.
What could it be? It starts on his side and goes about 1/3 around his stomach, then just stops.

Looks like he is a ringer. Which really doesn't mean anything genetically speaking, but they are cool!

So his babies are no more likely to have this yellow mark than any of my other ball python's babies?
