Good thing I got the Accurite!
The stupid dial was reading only 30-40% humidity,
so I was always trying to bring it up. I put in the Accurite and it
read 83%!!!!!

Yeah I used the analog one to measure humidity, always had spot on humidity, after misting. Put the accurite in, and I had 15% humidity -_-

Yeah I have one stuck to the inside of my scorpion tank that only reads 50% but i know it's more like 85%. It's a tropical tank with 6 inches of damp Eco earth! Lol i just never took it off the glass.
I only use the accurites for my snake tubs.

Yeah and its not just about it being analog or digital anymore its probably the brand too. I trust some analogs more than some digitals.
Not too long back I decided to try out ExoTerra digital combometers. Temperature wise, all the same, and I knew they were pretty accurate. But humidity? Wow, some are way off. I put them together and left them for a while, and one of them read humidity about 25% lower than it was, another about 13%, and its not like I can just add 25% to the one which reads it low, because as it changes, the difference changes too. It's pretty crap. Yeah and its off because humidity in my tropical climate in the middle of pouring rain canNOT be 30%.
