    breeding rats

i have a set of rats from 2 different mothers but have the same father would it hurt if i take a male from 1 litter and a female from the other litter and breed them together for snake food will it deform them or anything like that. im not worried about the rats im worried about the snakes injesting them.

I don't think it would be a problem for snake food. Usually inbreeding causes more problems in temperament and long term illness etc. Even the same litter will breed if you leave them together too long.

i knew they would if i left them together to long just wasnt sure if they had any kind of problems that could possibly make the snakes sick or make them not want to eat them.
