BP Seems Different
My bp likes to stay under his rock. Thats all he ever does. I never see him out! I took his rock out the other day and he has been out alil bit but I went up to his cage this morning and he struck at me which isnt normal at all. Do you think there could be something wrong with him, or am I doing something wrong?

Of course he struck at you, he's pissed you took away his hide. He's stressed! Ball pythons ALWAYS hide and will hide at least 90% of the time...they are not "visible show snakes". What is the rest of your setup like? And give him back his hide.

Re:
Yes, he has a log. I just put his rock back in. He also is not quite done shedding, that could be another reason for him to hide so much. Its normal for them to hide more when theyre getting ready to shed right?

logs dont really work for BPs. they like to be totally surrounded in tight fitting spaces.
p.s. all BPs do is hide if your husbandry is correct

No, they hide all the time, shedding or not. They are ball pythons and it's what they do. If you see him racing around the cage, not hiding, or just generally active other than for a short period of time at night, that means he is stressed out and your doing something wrong. A hiding ball python is a happy ball python, not the other way around.
Please take a look at the caresheet to be sure everything you are doing is correct..
