    Sick ball python question

I rescued a Ball Python a few days ago and it seems he has a respitory infection. I am attempting to help him, but my question is that we have week old puppies right now as well, is there a possibility that the infection would be contagious to them? Obviously the snake is in his own tank, but they are in the same room. Thanks for any input

    Re: Sick ball python question

To my knowledge there has never been an instance of a mammal catching an illness from a reptile, but with such young puppies I wouldn't risk it. Is there any way you can move the tank into another room?

Have you seen a herp vet about the RI?
