    odd scale

One of our rescues after her shed has a small deformed scale I have seen something similar before but I don't know what it is. Anyone have any information?

    Re: odd scale

Hmm, never had one quite like that before, but my male used to have a patch of dull scales kind of similar to that because the top layers of the scales got a little damaged during the shed. It shouldn't be a problem, I wouldn't be worried.

Thanks Alexandra, I am not really worried but this little girl has had a rough life so far, she was taken away from her owners. There have been charges .

I was passed one neglected little girl. I just got most of her issues cleared up and then this. If something like it was on one of my snakes I'd ignore it (they are all super healthy and have never been otherwise) but she has had lots of troubles, (ri, dog ticks!?, mites, stuck sheds and covered in filth) I just got everything cleared up and her last fecals came back clear. I check all the snakes in my care very carefully but some any thing raises a red flag, she is one of them.

I might end up keeping her she has allowed me to do just about anything I needed to her with out complaint. She has a sweet personality at least I find her so with my partner she is a handful. The hard part of rescues is sometimes you just can't give them up...
