    RI in female rat

I picked up a free female rat and she has a respiratory infection, is there anything I can do for her other than antibiotics or feeding her off? I've already got 2 rats in the freezer cause my big girls aren't eating, and I don't want to give this rat antibiotics incase I do have to feed her. She's put on some weight in the week or so I've had her, but she isn't improving much. There's been a couple times I figured she'd be dead in an hour but she wants to fight.

Anyone have any idea how much baytril costs? is it ok for preggo mom and feeding her off after? I have to put one of my ferrets down on Monday or saturday so may get some from the vet. She's a hoodie and I don't have any hooded rats. Pet stores are $21 for a live female rat, they rarely pop up on classifieds, and the only local breeder currently isn't breding....

If it's a loved pet then do what you can to treat it but in my experience rats that get bad respiratory even if they recover have a high chance of it returning because it compromises their immune system.
I don't ever try to save breeding rats if they get myco because of how easily it spreads to the rest of the colony.
