Looking to get my first big lizard... Thinking B&W TEGU

So i have boas, and bps

I used to own beardies, blue tongue skink, desert horned lizard, but im ready to jump it up to a big lizard such as tegu. I have been doing a little research have seen that the black and white and blue and white are probably my best bet. I know these animals get big so as far as living space i know what im getting my self into.

So i was wondering if you guys have any good websites for caresheets and also where is a good place to purchase Blue and White or Black and White Tegus. I looked on fauna and could not find any for sale, or if I did that were already adult size and im not looking for that.

Anyone have good info would be great.

I would personally recommend that you stay with an Argentine Tegu. There is alot of info available on http://www.varnyard-herps-inc.com/ and http://www.teguterra.com/ I have a red argentine tegu and he is pretty awesome

I agree on argentine b/w! They are known to have the best temperament, something that would be nice to have when dealing with a larger animal!

The breeding season for the Tegus starts this summer I think? I remember a breeder telling me any babies sold before mid/late summer were most likely imported. So wait until late summer and look for a baby!
