    Smile Successful first shed

I am happy to report Ili has undergone her first shed successfully. A week or two ago I noticed discarded snake skin in her home. I didn't even know she was beginning to shed. I had been leaving her alone to adjust to her home and wanting to make sure she ate successfully.
She retained some skin on her nose and over her eye for a couple of days after her whole body was shed, but that skin came off as well. I realized the humidity had probably been too low during her shedding so I am going to keep a closer eye on her for signs of her next shed.

I am also thrilled that she has been eating well and on a pretty regular basis.
I've come to recognize signs that she's ready to eat. She comes out of her keep more often and appears to be hunting around.
So far she's been eating two fuzzies a week. And my how she is growing. She's fat and happy! Which thrills me to pieces!
    Ahhhh, snake love!
