    Lined Snake and ?...

I went herping (In my yard) and I found a Line Snake! After much consorting of Texas Snakes: A Field Guide I have identified it. I also went to the Fort Worth Nature Center this last weekend and caught a glimpse of two snakes which I believe were the same species. One I only saw the arse end of, one I photographed, but it's blurry. I have been unable to identify it. It was dark on top (Not quite black) and lighter yellow I believe on bottom. Please take a look:

    ^^^Mystery snake. Sorry it's blurry. ^^^

    Thanks!

Your mystery snake appears to possibly be a black rat snake. We have a ton of them around here, and I know that there are quite a few in Texas. :]
