    Signs of Eggs?

My female has been trying to tagg me lately. Before I started breeding she wasn't like this. Could she have eggs? I tried palpating, dont really feel anything unusual. Can females "hide" their eggs so they cannot be felt? Thanks

I didn't have any issues with my females, but this is my first season. When did she eat last? It's possible she's just hungry.

Not sure if it is much help but give it time. Some females can be late and unpredictable. Especially the young females or first time breeding females. I too and undergoing my first breeding season but have gotten alot of valuable information from seasoned breeders. Dont loose hope. Are you still introducing the male? Any "Glowing"? I noticed you said she snaps at you, that is actually a good sign as well some females get attitude when they are gravid. (just like pregnant women lol). My female normal is also very finicky, and always on edge and before breeding her she was a puppy dog. This is her first season and she is also late but i was lucky enough to catch what I think was an ovulation. (she was huge and she hasnt been eating so know it wasnt from feeding, was in late Feb-mar). But I might have been mistaken because she should have laid eggs by now. Just be patient and if probably by june-july if no eggs then better luck next season

But keep your heads up! You are not the only first time or seasonal breeder that has expected/late eggs! They can take up til June sometimes to lay!

Best of luck to the two of you!
