I've had this girl for close to a year, and she's always been really off. She won't gain weight but loves to eat. She's an enigma and she's got a terrible head wobble, poor aim and circles a lot. She will only eat dubia roaches. I will supply a small colony (3.8 adults and some nymphs to get started) so that you've always got food for her. She looks like she's on deaths door almost constantly, but given that this is just how she is. I've contemplated putting her down but she's never told me it's time. She's very mellow, good to handle and doesn't seem to mind being handled. She's got a regenerated tail tip.
There's just something off with her, all my other leos kept in identical setups are fine. She's my buddy, but she deserves more attention.
The conditions to her adoption:
PET home only. She will NEVER be bred. I don't even think she'll pass 20 grams, but I still have to say something.
She will be housed ALONE. She can't compete for food at all.
I would prefer someone with gecko experience. She's too fragile of an animal to experiment with.
I would prefer local pick up, but I would ship her to the right home. Shipping is the adoptioners expense. Ill put the dubias in the box as well.
No cost for her, I just want to give her a good home.
If you'd like her, just tell me why. She was my first rescue and after 11 months I just don't think she's going to improve, but that doesn't mean she can't be a nice pet for someone. PMs or emails: samanthawenitsky@gmail.com
Pick up in MD/DC/VA I am in burtonsville (laurel), work in Bethesda, near DC and drive up to near DE border for the local show every month. I'll also be going to repticon baltimore. I can drop her off there as well. I really would just like a good home for her.
