    Breeding Season Feeding

I have heard multiple answers to this question, so I was wondering -

During the breeding season, do you feed your females correctly portioned meals at the standard 7-10 days or feed smaller meals every 4-5 days?

Also, during and after becoming gravid do you continue your schedule or change it up a little?

    Re: Breeding Season Feeding

I fed my females regular meals until they chose to stop eating (back in November). They never showed any more interest in feeding until a week after their eggs were on the ground a few weeks ago, and now they're making up for it with gusto! Mine have been easy to judge - they stay in the back of the tub when I start warming rats if they aren't interested, but are front and center if they want to eat. I'm feeding smaller meals about every 4 days right now, since they're showing interest every time, and then will go back to weekly and larger meals when they are closer to their original weights.
