    Breeding Packages

    Hey all!

First time poster, long time viewer here! Ok so my question is this...is buying "breeder packages" a good idea? I am completely aware of all that goes into breeding balls. I have started acquiring many baby/sub adult balls but was considering buying some "breeder packages" from some sellers off of kingsnake, but to me it seems that shipping and changing homes and what not would be so stressful to the snakes that breeding them this year would be a long shot if any! Any suggestions on this?

    Re: Breeding Packages

While it would be risky if you were planning on breeding them this year, its a pretty good time to be looking at breeding packages for next season. However, whenever you get a snake there is no guarantee that they will breed that season. I actually moved from one corner of the country to the other this December (driving). One of my females actually started to develop follicles half way through the trip, another shortly after the move and a third is just starting. It really depends on the snake.
