If she's at a godd weight...All you can do is try. She may or may not go for you.
My 09 female Mojo was paired with my 09 mail Mojo this year (both are at a great weight). I saw a few real good locks, but there are no signs of follicles or egg developement.

It really differs with every female! If she is up to weight then she may go but there is a higher chance that she will not be sexually mature. Most don't breed until their third winter! It won't hurt to try!!! Good luck!

For only a year old? It's possible but more on the doubtfull side. You want her to be a minimum of three years old and 1500grams.
Now i've had a female go for me after two years and 1700grams. However, i screwed myself worse than you can imagin. Not only did she loose 700grams after laying her eggs. (1000grams now), she stayed off feed for four more months. Here it is almost breeding time (at the time) and she just started eating. By breeding season, i only got her back up to 1300grams. I like to get my females back to their original wait at the very LEAST!! I was like darnit. So i tried it anyway. She didn't go. And she didn't go again this year. And for what i only got 4 eggs out of here!!!
Moral of this story is. The best plan is to wait. Put on as much weight (with in the snakes own right) and age on them as possible. It'll pay for itself in the end to wait a little while longer. I pushed it cause it was a project i've spent a lot of time on and got nothing out of it still with only 4 eggs i didn't hit the combo i needed. So it's up to you man. choose your poision basically...
Not trying to scare ya, just trying to get a point across and help make you the best decision for you and your snake which is the most important thing.
Just take your time. It's not a race. You'll appreciate it more if you wait in the end. After doing that I waited on another female to grow up 2 extra years she was 4 and 2700 grams when she laid for me and I got 9 eggs from her her first year and got more than i could bargin for out of here in those 9 eggs.
Hope this helps. Later

Re: Will she be ready??
NO! IMO
I go by length. 40 inch minimum for a breeder female.
What's the hurry?
Is she melting?

Thank you all for the input my main concern is of course my current snakes health above all so I will take your advice in wait as I would rather have many year of good w her than any thing else

that's what it's all about brotha.
getting in a hurry just complicates things. it's taken me almost 5 year's to realize this. oh well better late than never so they say. like right now i have a spider female who's 1550grams 3 years old. I keep looking at her like should i shouldn't i, is the question. I've told myself if you have any doubt and have to ask. The best thing to do then in this case is wait. She's big enough to pass eggs yes. You have to think about the egg count though. I know you're first year, you're just asking the snake gods for something even 1 egg. Well, at the time, this desprite act for just a few eggs, you aren't realizing it's hurting you more than anything. It's not nessecarily hurting the snake. The thing is, if you have a project or a certain combo you're trying to hit, more eggs = better chances right? If you push her right at the 3 year 1500 gram mark and you only hit 3 or 4 eggs, ok great. I have a few eggs this year. That's what I wanted, awesome. Ehh, not so much. Now what if she takes the next two years off? Now that just put ya back 2 years from completeing that project or combo. Chances are now, what if she doesn't throw me what I need this year. Now you'd be 3 years. It's all apart of the game man.
Anyhow, I'm done rambling on lol. Post up any more question and we'll be glad to help ya out.
