So, getting a 1" Xenesthis Immanis in two weeks, getting the enclosure ready to fumble with before it comes home.
Basically I took a large plastic faunarium and filled it up with lots of clutter, because I want to have to move it as little as possible given their jumpiness.
Here is a picture of the enclosure, just imagine it with substrate about halfway up the mouth of the pot, kind of built up so that the inside of the pot will make a little burrow lower than the level of the substrate. To give you an idea, the pot's diameter is about 4". Is this alright, or should I put it in a smaller faunarium/"critter keeper" that I have? Sorry about the newbie question, and any advice is much appreciated. My main concern would be losing crickets among the fake plants, but I hear these guys are great eaters so maybe the cricket won't make it that far...?
