American Family Pet Expo: Reptiles (Major DUW)

I suck at photography, and apparently the entire time I was at the expo the focus on my camera was set to distant background objects. So, most are out of focus. A few came out decent enough, so I thought I'd share.
The majority of my time there was spent in the reptile building, and I took hundreds of pictures including other animals, so I'm just going to share some of the reptile pictures.

This is the Rosy Boas that has convinced me I must own one now. I didn't want to put this guy down

This guy, with the Burmese Python, announced to the crowd that it was Leucistic (he stressed that it wasn't albino, like most people think)... This completely threw me back and confused me.

Thanks to Warren from the Southern California Herpetology Association & Rescue, I officially must own a Rosy Boa. Possibly a California King as well. The snakes he had displayed were just beautiful, and sweet as can be. Spent a great amount of time talking to him, and it turns out he's the one I had a long conversation with at last year's expo too!

Thanks for looking!! I had too much fun today

Nice pics, looks like you had a blast. I love the caimans, I believe that's what they are, I had a caiman when I was young(er).

The two little ones in the tub were labeled as "Don't touch the alligators", if those are what you were referring to

I think your pics came out good Thanks for sharing!!! I also find it rather funny and upsetting at the same time that the guy with an albino burm, who I take was trying to educate people on them, insited it was a lucy

Thanks! There were some amazing little reptiles there and I was so beyond bummed when I got home and realized they were mostly out of focus
Yeah, when the speaker announced that it was not an albino, but in fact a leucistic, I put down my camera and just kind of stared with a puzzled look. The entire crowd was fascinated and I was beyond tempted to correct him, but I just walked away from his "show". He clearly has never seen a true leucistic burmese. He needs to research leucism and albinism a bit more before trying to educate those who don't know any better.

Not sure what burm you're looking at... The man I'm referring to is holding an albino burm with three little kids.

Great pics! The Rosie is stunning, it almost looked blue in the picture. Do you know what type it was? Also, the guy with the burm....ummm...yeah someone needs to do some research.
