    question about thermostat

I have the Ranco thermostat. I am going to be moving my male normal into a tub later this week. I know that Ranco is an on/off type of theromstat. My question is will it be able to keep a steady temperature of at least 90 for my hot spot for my snake? How can it do this with being an on/off type of thermostat? Sorry if this sounds like a really stupid question but I want to be able to maintain a steady 90 degree temperature for my hot side of the tub. Thank you for your input.

You will need to set the differential to 1 degree. That will cut the Tstat off at 90 and back on at 89. I use several rancos and have no issues.
