I'm new to these forums and still kinda new to being the lucky owner of a wonderful BP (got him as a x-mas gift from my brother). This is my question.
I have heard that if a snake is scarred and it is used for breeding that the scars can carry on to the young. Is there any truth to this at all?
I argued with a snake "expert" about this. He claims that scarred snakes don't make good breeders due to the marks passing on. This makes no sense to me since scars aren't part of the snakes genetics.
Hopefully I can get the right answer on this. Thanks in advance!
