Quick temp question and size of eggs question

What should the temp of the hot spot be for my gravid females, I hear varying things from diff people? Also how big are ball python eggs? Are they the size of chicken eggs or larger? Thanks for any help.

Re: Quick temp question and size of eggs question

Well actually both of the questions that you have asked have a variance on personal choice. For people that do not cool females will leave the temps at the consistent year around. for those that cool the temps can vary. As far as the egg size, there again can be quite a large variance... Yes they are larger than a normal chicken egg but some can be upwards of like pop bottle girth. Hope this helps a little since there really is not a direct answer.

Temps are pretty much the keepers preference.

    Egg size is variable.

Like stated, temps are your choice! Females that are gravid like warmth so I kept mine at 90!

Eggs are about the size of a chicken egg in girth(maybe a little wider) but longer, about 50% longer is my best description!

This is just from my experience!!!
