Need help figuring out cuts for a rack

So I found a sign shop that would sell me 1/2 in XPVC for 100 a sheet. Id like to build an enclosed rack but If I have to Ill do an open air rack. Im using the Iris cb 70 tubs. Id like to do 9 tubs. Ive been looking at this write up (http://ssscales.com/archives/290 ) but to me 56 inches doesnt seem tall enough. Can some one help me figure out what size cuts I need and all that.

Personally I recommend picking up your tubs first because there are several tubs that are similar and that are listed as the same size but may vary by as much as 1/4" so that may cause fit issues once your rack is complete. If you pick up the tub first then you can build the rack around it so you know it fits perfect. Also 9 levels will be pushing it to get it from one sheet you will need two probably. I have built a ton of these racks so if you would like I can walk you through the steps they definitely aren't complicated. Just pm me and I'll send you my cell number and we can answer any questions you have. Good luck and have fun!

You couldnt get two racks with 3 sheets. If you want 9 tubs you'll need ten pieces approx 18" x 34" your only going to get 5 pieces from a sheet so you'll need both sheets for the levels. That's not counting the sides and a back if you want an enclosed rack.

You could make 2 sheets work if you did an open design something like this.

Any problems with heat loss with a design like that?

I've always used 1 foot of 11" flexwatt under the rear 1/3 of the tub and it holds temp fine. I just don't put any holes in my tubs.
