blue spots to skin on my bp's head and blue tint

Ok this isn't my first shed. Its my 2nd and he didn't do this last time.. his eyes are still black and his stomach hasnt showed a pink tint yet. It has been 3-4 weeks since his last shed so maybe he is comen to his shedding process.. I didn't kno if this is suppose to happen. Like I said he hasn't had this happen to him before.. still very active!!

okay, that blue sheen you are talking about is iridescence. Many snakes have scales that consist of clear layers on top of pigmented layers. This causes the light to break in particular patterns creating a slight sheen against the back of the scale. All ball pythons that have black scales will present iridescence. A more famously iridescent snake is BRB. Now i don't know about actual scales changing colors permanently, but my bet is that you've just discovered another reason why your snake is so cool. Do the blue spots remain even when not under bright light?

Nope just under the light. I leave a infared 75 watt bulb on 24/7 and a 50 watt sun glo neodymium baskin spot lamp on a timer. There all on a dimmer to keep heat down to 93 in sunlight.

Yep, that's just natural iridescence. Part of their beauty.
