    Couple of questions reguarding clutches

well my female will be laying her eggs anytime now. I'm hoping to receive 8+ eggs her last clutch was 11. She weighed in at 3600 grams befor she got prego

I had a couple of questions because I leave to basic training the first of may so I will be selling this clutch to someone who has just got into ball pythons they already have the incubator and everything set up.

What would be a fair price for a normal/mojave clutch? per egg and such?

kinda sad that I will miss my first clutch hatching but at least it is for something good

    thanks as always guys/gals

    Normal : 0.2 - Mini , Big Mama
    Albino: 0.1 - Blondie
    Pastel: 1.0 - Jafar
    Mojave: 1.0 - Timon

As a buyer I wouldn't pay very much. To many things can go wrong. You could end up with all male normals that you have trouble giving away. The clutch could go bad in the incubator for any number of reasons. I might pay 300 but that would be it. It's a gamble and you hope win big.

Not sure on the value. You've done a fair amount of the work for the worth of the babies, but incubating is a necessary value, too...

Given the odds, you'd expect 4 mojos and 4 normals, 2.2, and 2.2...obviously that's just the odds. If you averaged the value of the babies, you'd maybe have $300-400.$400-500 mojos, and $30.$30 normals, maybe. So the range of the clutch would be (based on the odds) $760-$960. However, the points have been made that the odds are not always met.

With the chance of eggs dying, not being fertile, babies deformed, male normals, etc, the value would be quite lower in my opinion. With incubation, baby care, and marketing/selling them still to do, I'd say the $200-$400 range would be acceptable.

Whatever you do, good luck. Oh, and I wanted to say, too, thanks for serving.

As a buyer...I wouldn't want to pay more than $30-$50 per egg. There is still some work left to be done as far as incubation goes and a LOT of variables involved. just my thoughts.

And yes...Thanks for serving! Good luck!

Depending on how good of a friend is buying, you might both be better splitting the sales. But either way it's tough. $30-40 an egg maybe is all I would pay.
