Yep I'm doing the happy dance!!

I left for a couple hours this morning not thinking a thing was different. And I come home to this!!! Oh yea I'm doing the happy dance! 1st clutch of the season many to come. 4 fertile 1 slug.

    Yay
Btw I never got any pre ov
Shed post ov shed or pre lay shed. I thought I had another month to go. This girl has been anything but predictable. Shes 1657g after laying. So has anyone else ever had an unpredictable girl like this??

    congratz!

just goes to show there really is no such thing as a pre ovulation shed because any shed before ovy means nothing and pre lay and post ovy are the same, I have heard about females not having a pre lay shed though.

She was bred to a reduced pattern male albino. I went back over my notes and I think she started cooling before my cooling schedule which started Nov 1st so that's why I think shes a little ahead of every other girl. So I think I was expecting her to follow the cooling schedule I set when she was following her own.

Our 2nd clutch was from a female who shed twice after ovy before she laid. The second shed sure threw me for a loop. I questioned (because I'm a newbie, and it was only our 2nd clutch ever...) whether I had been right about her even being gravid. However, I could easily tell with palpating that she had eggs in her.

It really does go to show that they're all different, and they're on their own schedules.
