HELP!!! BP stuck in disk drive!
My normal BP Lucy crawled into my retro computer's 5 1/4 floppy drive. Now she is refusing to come out. Is there any way to get her out of the drive without damaging the drive or the snake, or is the drive a goner? A picture of the drive is here:

The drive opens in the front, and leaves a hole large enough for a BP to crawl into. I know it's a strange situation, but I just want my snake back!

I would take it apart carefully. There should be screws holding the casing on. They may be under rubber or plastic feet of the devise. At very least unplug it though.

No way omg. Little bugger. You should be able to take it apart carefully or stick the whole thing in the cool side of her tank and hopefully shell come out to eat or
Warm up. Just watch the humidity
So you don't kill the drive. If she's
Not in shed shell be fine. What a brat!

Definitely unplug! See if you can carefully take it apart as Ladybugzcrunch said. The only other thing I can think of is maybe try gettin a f/t rat (or whatever it is she's on), thaw it, and leave it out in the open near the snake to try to lure her out. Other than that I've got nothing. This is certainly one of the strangest situations I ever heard

Unless there's a way you can disassemble it to get to the drive, I'd say you're probably going to have to rip it apart unfortunately. When a snake doesn't want to come out of an enclosed area, they are extremely hard to remove. I suppose you could always try just putting the drive inside her enclosure (if that's possible?) and wait for her to come out, as long as she hasn't gotten herself really stuck in there.
That is a strange situation haha

Re: HELP!!! BP stuck in disk drive!
Thanks for all the input! I think she's beautiful too. I made sure to pick the best one out of the recently hatched clutch. I think I made a good choice. I'm just glad she got out of that drive OK! (The drive still works)
