    Question Weight question

I'm sure this is an old question that has been ask hundreds of times, but I'm going to ask it again anyways.

So I've noticed with my younger BPs that when they ball their spines are very noticeable, but with my larger female this isn't the case. I feed my BPs once ever 5-6 days, feeding them appropriately sized prey that comes to about 10% of their weight. Even the BPs I just got in from a breeder are like this. Is this normal? Do I need to feed more often? I haven't had 3 of my BPs long enough to really notice much change (one of them I just got in this morning), but with my '10 spider I've been monitoring his weight. He gained about 50-60 grams last month, but I can still see his spine clearly when he balls up. Am I doing something wrong?

If he's gaining that much weight then don't worry about it... he'll fill out eventually. 10% is also on the low end. You could bump it up a bit to 15-20% if you're really worried about it.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if it was normal or if I wasn't feeding him enough. ^__^
