Why is my bp wheezing?
So I just baught a new bp from a friend for 25 dollars. I noticed the first night when he arrived he was wheezing a little bit. I kind of shook it off and thought it was nothing but now he's doing it pretty much every single time he exhales. I know sometimes this is a sign of RI and I do NOT want a snake of mine to have RI (plus vet bills are extremley expensive for reptiles in my area). He has a heat lamp on him right now (don't have a uth yet, but it gets to be about 90 degrees on tha side for his hotspot and about 83 on the cool side). Im a little worried, help?
Oh and he just ate too.

Vet bills for reptiles are extremely expensive in all areas. :-/
If you suspect a RI it really should be checked out by a vet. Those things can kill.
You can check his nose for stuck shed and whatnot, but especially since you mentioned its gotten worse since you first noticed it I really doubt that's the issue.

First, I wouldn't buy a snake if I couldn't provide for it. Second, you really need to fix your husbandry. Heat lamps are not appropriate for BP. What's your humidity at? How are you measuring the temperature?

I use a heat lamp but also have a UTH for belly heat. Your friend probably palmed it off on you knowing it was sick.
