Looking for a good indoor/outdoor thermometer. What a fiasco.

Hello all. I had one made by Holmes that I believe I got at Target that was working great. One day when I was spraying the enclosure to get the humidity up a bit I must have sprayed too directly on the display of the unit causing the numbers to be unreadable. I went to the New England Reptile Expo in Manchester today and bought a Zilla one that I though was indoor outdoor because it had two probes. Come to find out one was a temp probe and the other was for humidity. Is there a BP.net favorite thats out there right now at a decent price? I beleive I only paid $12-$15 for the Holmes that I was using.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

    Ugh that is annoying.

I know most people recommend Acu-rite (Chaney Instruments), but I use an Oregon Scientific one that I got at wal-mart for $14 and it works great. I've accidentally misted it several times (although not spraying it directly) and I've had no problems yet. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of digital thermometers seem to be converting to "wireless" units, but I have no experience with those and have no idea how well they would work for a bp's enclosure.

Hope you get it all sorted out soon!!

Got an Acu-rite at Lowes and another at Walmart. Both were under $15 each. Work great.
