    uric acid

what does uric acid smell like and is it sometimes a clear not noticable color. under my snakes hide he likes to use stays damp and has a kind of neosporin smell to it. If you read my other posts youll know his hide is under a water dish. But it cannot be tipped at all. i have a couple theories bout why its damp but yall prolly know more bout this so help me out if you can please..

Well I would say it stays damp because of the condensation . Warm air + cool water = condensation . Lol if it stays as damp as you say you may want to get another water dish that sits on the bottom on the enclosure and get him a hide. As simple as a plastic bowl . It's not good for them to lay in/ on a wet substrate all the time. Hope this helps and hope I understood correctly.
