    perfect shed

my bp just had its first shed scince i got it. it was a full shed. my question to anyone who has an answer is, is it a good idea to have a humidity hide in the cage all the time. i have a regular hide and the humidity stays in the regeon of 55 to 65 all the tim rarely going below 55. should i keep a humid hide in the cage. i put it in the cage when i noticed it was in the shed cycle and took it out today when i found the shed skin. i know that the relitive humidity in the cage is at a good lvel and my snake does very well in its incloser as is. just curious about it. i dont think i need it but im sure some of you have much more experience as i do. good news is that i have all my heating and humidity problems prettty much on the right track. any comments about the humd hide would be helpfull.

As long as your humidity stays within the range of at least 50% there really is no need for a humid hide except for when your snake is going to shed. Congrats on the successful first shed by the way!

I don't do humid hides per se. I keep my tubs at around 50-60% humidity at all times and I have no problem with sheds.
