Still Popping A Little When Breathing

A couple weeks ago my normal female shed and at the same time she also spilled some of her water in her tub. When I got home she had shed out perfect but her tub and paper towel subtrate were soaked. I took her out and she was wheezing and popping quite a bit. I thought maybe she had some dry skin in her nostril or a slight cold from the water. She wasn't showing any other sign of RI. The wheezing and popping seemed to be gone the next day. I have her out draped over my shoulders right now and she is occasionally popping very little when she breaths. Is this normal or should I take her to the vet? She has no mucus or bubbles coming from her mouth or nostrils. No mucus in her tub. She eats fine and seems healthy. I have five other bp's and none of them pop when they breath so im worried. What should I do?

If you think there is a chance that it is a ri I would take her to a vet. It would also put you at ease I think. Did you check her nostrils for a flap?

Well you don't absolutely have to jump to a vet right now. Slight popping is a bit different than an actual RI. If you want to be safe bump the heat up a couple degrees and watch it carefully. If it gets worse or mucus develops bring him to the vet.

I wouldn't think that sitting on water for a few hours would bring about symptoms of an RI that quickly. Considering she just shed I'd bet there's just something stuck in her nostril. If it sounds like the popping is coming from her body and not her face, there might be a reason to be concerned. Keep an eye on her, bump up the temperature and see how things develop.

Thank you guys all very much for your help....im really hoping its just skin in her nostril....it probably is and im just over reacting... I really dont see how it could be an RI. My temps and humidity are allways spot on.
