    Question Recycled Cardboard Bedding?

Hey, I was just curious if anyone has any information or thoughts on that recycled cardboard bedding they sell at pet stores for hamsters, rabbits, etc.

    thanks!

is that the cotton looking stuff ? in all different coulors ? if so i dont reconmend it. it really dont hold the humidity and if your spraying, it gets pretty hard after it gets wet and your snake crawls all over it. i used it for about a month just in his hide bc it looked comfortable but it got rock hard fast. i just use it for my leftover feeders its really good for the smell lol. hope thats what your looking for.

I've used it for rabbits, other four-legged critters and like montgomery said, it does tend to get hard if it gets the least bit damp. I did a search for "recycled cardboard substrate" on the forums and got two links back. I looked at both of them and this seems to be the most pertinent from what little of it I read.

    Hope this helps: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...oard+substrate
