    Unusually long shed, maybe?

So, my newest ball, an imported female who dropped 11 eggs three and one half weeks ago went into blue 18 days ago.

Her blue phase lasted about the normal four days and I expected her to shed shortly thereafter.

As of tonight, it has been 18 days and she has still not shed. She hasn't tried and failed, but rather not even tried. Her skin still has the faintly milky look of an unshed snake, and her eyes are dull and faintly cloudy. Her belly is also faintly pink.

Is it unusual for them to go this long? Is there anything I can/should do to help her?

You could try giving her a luke warm bath for around 20 minutes to help her get the process started. Do you have any rough surfaces in her home that she can use to help her remove the old skin?
