Will she be okay?
I just found my kingsnake with her tail stuck under the lid of one of my tanks-I need to get clip ons. Part of her tail is compressed, other than that she seems fine but I want to know if there is anything I can/should do. Thanks

For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.

Ouch! Is that above or below her cloaca? If it's above, all I'd worry about is if it got compressed so she might not be able to pass urates or feces.
2.3 normal ball pythons
.1 ultramel motley het caramel corn snake
1. butter motley het caramel+stripe corn snake
1. fiance I had to rehome my kitty, and my dog got cancer and we put her down. RIP.(Did I forget anything?? )

If bloodflow was cut off long enough, it will die. If it wasn't too long it should be ok. If the tail tip, and it is below the cloaca, does die, you will need to cut it off to prevent the necrosis from spreading to healthy tissue.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Thanks for the replies. The dent is pretty much gone now, I will keep checking to see that it continues healing.
