I took my first BP to the vet on Monday, and of course had a fecal done to make sure he didn't have any parasites. He's been so healthy, healthy shed, healthy eater, I've had no problems at all. Well I got his results last night and he was positive for pinworms

Is this common in ball pythons? I'm also paranoid me or my son got it, but my vet said that was not probable. Of course if you google anything like this you get the worst case scenarios. Anyone have any knowledge about pinworms? I'm picking up his meds today.
