Hey guys, I posted last tuesday that I got my first ball. I named her Tuna. Long story short, I was going to place her in her feeding bin and noticed a crawly on my hand...mites
. I put her back in her cage, and had to go to school soon, so I did a bit of research and phoning around to figure out the mite problem. It was a really stressful day for me and Tuna, and I felt horrible having to spray her with chemicals and such. Anyways, the next day she was crawling around like a hungry snake and offered her a meal. She snatched it instantly.
I have a few photos of her to share with you guys. The first couple are ones I snached before I found the mites, and the seconds ones I grabbed before feeding her.
Also before feeding I checked for mites and I could not find any living ones on her. There are quite a few corpses in her home though, so I will have to clean those up. So hopefully things get a little nicer for Tuna. She still has a couple more treatments to remove the mites, but they shouldnt be quite as nasty as before. Tuna is a beautiful girl and seems very healthy
