    Food size at 300 grams?

Hey guys, my ball is a hair over 300 grams and I was wondering what size food is good for her. I have fed her 1 adult mouse, but it seems a little small for her girth. Can a 300 g ball eat 2 mice? thanks

I have 10 that are in the 300-500 g range. You can feed them 2 mice if they are willing with no problems, I do it all the time but most of mine are content with just 1 mouse. You might try a small rat instead. good luck.

Re: Food size at 300 grams?

I would feed 30-45 grams of food every 5-7 days. One big mouse or one small rat should do it. What I have been told is to feed 10 - 15 % of body weight every 5-7 days. You could feed 2 smaller mice but your Bp would be happier with one good sized food item.

My female spider is just under 300.

ATM I'm feeding her a large adult, but I've been considering feeding her 2 adults. Or 1 adult every 4 days.

Thanks guys, the mice I have aren't super huge so I'll try two next time. She seemed pretty ready for another after her first. I'll pick up some small rats once she finishes off the mice
