    Some pics with a question!

Hey all! I mostly just wanted to show you guys some new pics of Jafar. I haven't posted any in a LONG time. He weighs 125g now. I can't remember his exact age though I do know he is a mid to late 2010 baby. He's like most balls, a great snake! Perfect for handling and easy to maintain! I'm not to worried about his health, but I was wondering what you guys think of his size. Is he too skinny, or just about right? By the way, hope you enjoy the pics of my little pastel!

By the way, he's got some stuck shed on his head. I didn't pay as much attention to his humidity as I should have during his last shed. Lesson learned, that won't be happening again. His eyes seem nice and clear though and he hasn't shown any signs of stress. He also hits his meals pretty well. He hasn't gotten torn up too bad by any live food, other than a few scratches from a hopper. This guy eats ANYTHING! He's only "refused" one meal, which was simply too large. He tried to eat it but just couldn't. Since then no problems and he usually eats either hoppers, or slightly larger rat pups.

well compared to my spider that I hatched out in Aug '10 who's right at almost 400g. He's the size of my Dec. '10 hatchlings.

    What are you feeding him?
    How often?

He eats hoppers mainly, though I did just feed him a rat pup the other day. I feed him once a week and the hoppers and rat pups seem to be about the same girth as him.

Re: Some pics with a question!

I agree he is kind of small. I have a Dec 10 that is over 200g now - she is a piglet though. She actually escaped from the breeder and snuck into a mouse cage and ate an entire litter of fuzzy mice just before I got her . My Sept 10 hatches are around 300g.

I agree, start feeding him every 5 days. He's a bit thin, even for a late '10.

Good posts and advice from everyone but I had to post anyway because I really love his pattern. All the black area have really cool light colored spots in them. Increase his feed and watch that little guy grow!

    Regards,

Thanks! He's getting prettier and prettier with every shed. I got lucky with this one.
