Transgender Snake? Help!!
I put my immature spider female (500 grams ish) in with a mature female who has been bred this season. They both were ill so I housed them in the same tub due to lack of space. Came in just now and they were locked! What? I know the normal is female because she is proven. The spider probed female for me and another. Dumb as this may sound, is there ANY possible way the spider could do this and still be female? The hemipene or hopefully another organ didn't look like other ones I've seen. Any help is much appreciated !

Housing two sick snakes together seems counter productive. I would get them both adequate asap.
Have you popped the animal (you seem to imply that you've seen its reproductive organ)? Probing is ok, but I like to pysically see what's going on.

I'm all about the popping too, I want to see the sex organs before placing two snakes together.
I have NEVER seen a female try to lock with another female.
Sick snakes need their own housing IMO

Re: Transgender Snake? Help!!
Not to be a bother but transgender is not the term you are looking for. The snake is most likely male and was sexed wrong. It happens every now and then. I also agree that the snakes need separate housing.

I'm betting the spider is a male and sexed incorrectly. I prefer popping to probing, and agree that you need to house them separately. Putting two snakes together is stressful, and the last thing those two snakes need with their illness is extra stress. I understand the space issue but it is easily remedied. Go get a tub and a reptile heat pad and put your snake in that tub.
