    Scam #2?? LOL

ok, new craigslist scam??? I found this craigslist ad for ball pythons the person said to e-mail for more info so I did and they e-mail me back and they are quoting some CRAZY CRAZY low prices... but anyway the e-mail is super weird (like the previous one I posted before) only this one is from craigslist and not some random website -although I KNOW there are tons of CL scammers- anyway... the email said this:

    Hello
Thanks for contacting me in regards to my Captive bred ball pythons,They are Many different Species of this ball pythons available and with different price range.Taking care of Captive bred Ball Pythons is something that I find enjoyable, relaxing, and educational as well as you will do.. It can be a challenge at times, and does teach you patience. One lesson I learned pretty early is that caring for reptiles is very unlike caring for mammals (ie.dogs, cats, hamsters, etc.).They will acclimate, but they will be good feeders and are not into defensive position. My Ball pythons are presently3.2ft and will be about 5 FT when fully grown. They are 08 and The Ball pythons in captivity are fed appropriately-sized mice and rats at the rate of 1-2 every week (I feed them one every 5 days). ***ALWAYS FEED BALL PYTHONS PRE-KILLED FOOD ITEMS!!!*Before i can give any of my ball pythons to any home, i will need you to know more about you,Please give answers to the
    questions below:

    Questions
    1) Where are you located ??
    2) Have you any Python care experience?
    3) Are you a breeder??
    4) How Old are you?
    5) Are you married? with kids?
    6) What do you do for a living? which of the breed do you want? and when are you ready to have this python?
    7) What are your Contact Phone Numbers?

I e-mailed back answering those dumb questions (one word answers obviously) and asking if he is moving from PA to los angeles or what the deal is and how this would work. Trust me I am NOT about to send him any $$ .... unless this is confirmed legit lol and if it is I'm obviously going to buy all of them because they are amazing prices... haha but more than likely this is a scam... fml... will keep updating as he emails me back (if he does).

Their grammar usually sets off flags for me, other than the too good to be true pricing

    Re: Scam #2?? LOL

Moved it to "General BP's" for you.

DEFinitely scammy. Everything from the weird questions to the too-good-to-be-true prices to the poor grammar for someone who supposedly lives in America to the complete lack of knowledge of the proper terminology, to the weird list of other species.

Ball Pythons do not have separate species as he keeps implying, nor do they come in "breeds." And the other species he lists.... "Flame Snake" And "Rear-Fanged".... ummm, rear-fanged WHAT? Hognose? Boomslang?!?!? .....

    Re: Scam #2?? LOL

lol i asked a lot of questions (relevant ones, not help people break into your house ones like this) when i was adopting out the rescues i had but I at least had good grammar and it was only because I questioned the grammar/intelligence of the people that were asking me. This guy is weird though because he fails at writing and the prices are a huge flag but at the same time he appears to care somewhat?

I hope you didn't answer ALL of those questions (particularly name & phone number), since those are common "stealing your identity" questions... I've seen the same list in other internet scams, like when I've responded to a low-priced apartment/house for rent. The second I see these particular questions, the red flag goes off in my head. Especially considering some are illegal to ask for housing, like age and marital status - at least they're illegal here in California. Be careful!
