    Deciding which morph to get

Well, I've been thinking about getting another ball python for a while now to breed to my VPI axanthic male. I can't decide between three ball pythons which are slightly varying in cost by a couple hundred dollars. Here are the three I'm deciding on, I have around 900 to spend if you would like to give more suggestions. (I don't want to deal with the spider morph due to the head wobble)
Pastel Butter, Lemon Blast, and Pied.
Those are in order of interest, first being the one I'm most interested in. I'm not in a hurry, I want a good quality and young ball python who's color will last. I can always save up more money. I would also be interested in suggested breeders or breeders I should be warned about.

I promise you that if you get the pastel butter female you will have no regrets. Some of the things that are done with the butter/lesser morph are just amazing. Its all up to you though on which one you like the best. But from personal experience my butter is at the top of my list of the snakes i own. Good luck trying to decide.

Thanks, I really like how the pastel butters look and if I were to get one I would have a variety of types of genes, co-dominant, dominant, and recessive. Also, with lessers and butters I thought that a butter would be better since they are usually more yellow, helping the common axanthic browning. I was wondering though, since I believe lessers are more common/popular than butters if I should avoid paying attention to different lines even though I am ruling out mojaves since they're much more brown.

The difference I've seen with butters is they tend to glow brighter. They also generally hatch looking like a low grade lesser or like a Mohave but they lighten up after a few sheds. I think they are in the same gene pool but butters are the higher quality looking as adults of the two.

With the butter you would have the leusistic producing gene. Of course axanthic pins are very nice as well but who can resist a pied?

I don't know.. It's really up to you. I like em all!

I was actually thinking about hopefully producing axanthic king pins or maybe even axanthic emperor pins. However, those lightening pieds are gorgeous!

Oh, wait. I'm tired I forgot that I was thinking of lemon blast while talking about pastel butter. Pastel and butter are both codom. Which is also very nice.
Oh, also I was wondering which line of pastels is the best. I've seen some very beautiful blonde pastels but a lot of people prefer lemon pastels.
