Spray Adhesive for UTHs?
So I must have three large UTHs that I must have forgotten to cover with wax paper after removed from their cages. I found them in a box from moving, and they all work fine, but won't stick. I bought a spray adhesive, but every time I plug them in, the heat removes them from the glass. Any ideas on how to get them to stay? I'd like to use them, in this 40 gal breeder I have. I've already made the plexi lid to hold humidity, and blacked out three sides, so heat is all I have left. If all else fails, I'll just quit being lazy and buy a new one....

Re: Spray Adhesive for UTHs?
Yeah, spray adhesive doesnīt ever seem to work well. What always worked wonders for me with UTHīs is using aluminum tape that you can get at a hardware store. Itīs not expensive, the adhesive withstands the heat of the heater, and if you ever want to put the heater on another enclosure you simply untape it and then stick it on the new cage. Itīs a win situation all around

I thought about that, but how will I ensure that I get full contact? Do they sell a double-sided foil tape?

You donīt need double sided, just tape around the edges and just be careful while youīre doing it. I have done this with all my cages and had no problems.
