    Educating people feels good LOL

At my job people usually bring in their dogs to show people and what not. Well a few co-workers knew that I have some ball pythons, and asked if I would ever bring them in. Well I did in December right before Christmas, when a lot of people were out of the office on vacation, so that only the people that really wanted to see them would be there. Well I didn't have my pastel Ella yet, and my one co-worker who really likes snakes asked if I could bring in Ella and show her how much different she was than my normal.

So....Today I brought in Ella and I actually was surprised by a few of the reactions.

This is my co-worker who loves snakes. No, She's not nervous, but I take for granted when I'm holding my snakes and talking to people I'm not worried about what they are doing, so it was different to see people hold her and not be able to talk because they were so worried about what the snake was doing. You can see my other co-worker was a little nervous. (He never ended up touching her, and I didn't force the issue.)

    This is my BOSS. LOL

Apparently she fell in love with my baby. She took her around the office and was showing her off to a lot of my co-workers and a few other managers.

Overall it was a good experience and I was able to educate a lot of people. Those that didn't want anything to do with the snake I kept her away from them, and anyone who was interested or wanted to touch I was more than willing to allow. I was happy that Ella was calm and cool with so many people around and touching her. She didn't ball up once and I actually think she became less head shy than she was before.

Just a cool experience and thought I would share.
