Finally...
The story:
I bought a 2009 normal 'female' from someone at NARBC tinley last october..a week or 2 later I discover said 'female' to be a MALE! A disappointment for sure, but none the less, I was compensated with a 2004 female normal who actually was a female..not as good looking as the one I bought originally but still a female normal. Then comes the interesting part, the night that she was shipped out to me there was some kind of huge windstorm which delayed her so she ended up spending the night in Indianapolis in late october..needless to say I was worried, but she pulled through and when I picked her up the following day at 7am from the fedex place she was still alive, cold..but alive(that was Oct. 28th) Well after that ordeal...she didnt eat for me...at all, not even showing any interest no matter what I tried...F/T, live, and every species imaginable...until now..exactly 4 months to the day later. I tossed in an extra live mouse I had after feeding the others this evening, not expecting anything other than her usual ignorance...but she shocked me and went after it like a mad man! Finally some relief...ahhhhh!!
So for all those people out there who get freaked out about your snake refusing a meal one or two times...take this as a lesson...as long as your husbandry is good, they will eat when they are ready to eat..and NO SOONER! LOL!

That's what I'm hoping for! When they said they were sending me a 2004 I expected a breedable size snake but when she arrived she was only around 1300g...which is possible to breed but that just seemed way small to me for a 2004.

I got an 06 female thats only 600g, she is a picky eater, only mice, and the guy that had her before me never thought to feed her more than one per feeding! They bulk up fast once their eating right
