Would this be a problem?

I have a 1.3 rat colony, and the first female became pregnant and I moved her to a birthing tub where she is still with her 14 babies, born on last Wednesday the 23rd. I have another female about to drop. My question is, can I put her in with the other mom and babies that will be a week old Wednesday, or should I put her in a different birthing tub?

If you have the room give them separate tubs, but if not it will be ok to put them together

I would put them in separate tubs if you have the space. The bigger babies will out compete the smaller babies for mom's milk. If you don't have the extra room its not that big a deal. You might lose a baby or two in the process.

Yeah, I do have an open tub. I will just put her in that. Now I will have to get one or two more females as there will be only one left in with the male.

I would leave her in with the group. You loose a month of production by moving them to birthing tubs.

It also depends on those certain females. Some females are perfectly fine with each other while they have babies....others (like one I had) turn into psychos once they have babies and attack (and try to hurt) any other rat that comes near. I no longer have that rat, of course.

Realistically, it all depends on how many and what size animals you are feeding.

True, I have 5 that are 800 grams +, and one at 125 grams. And one Corn Snake.
I just want to make sure I have enough tubs for grow out tubs, as I have 5 tubs.
