    Built a rack today

I built a rack for the cheap bus tubs I picked up a while back. I wasn't going to use them because everybody here said that they would chew the ribs on the bottom of the tubs. A buddy was looking at the tubs the other day and said he thought they were the same measurements as the vision tubs he uses. The bus tubs that I have and the vision v35 are very very close. The v35 will work in this rack with no or very little adjustments. Knowing that I have access to replacements tubs I decided to go ahead and build the rack. Now I just have to build the second one while I'm waiting on my order from ag select.

Is there any other way? I'm just waiting on tees, elbows, and the clips that hold the valves in the hardware cloth.

    Spacers/rails?

What did you use for spacers/railing that your tubs sit on? any chance I can get a picture of those or anything? I'm trying to build a multi tub per level rack but theres a 1 inch section that the tub overhangs to slide on and I don't know what to use for that... if that makes any sense lol

I used 1x2's for the spacers and 1x4's for the railings. Most people use spacers and railing that are not as wide but I wanted more room for adjustments in the future if needed. Your spacers and railing size is going to depend on your tubs when building a rack. The railings are cut about 3 inches shorter than the spacers to allow the tub to drop out without removing the water sipper.

    I like it

I like it, I think that would work for me as well... that looks like enough room, I'll have to double check with all my measurements but that looks perfect. Thanks man I appreciate it

I've used the bus tubs for 2 years now and havent had one chew out. The ribs dont seem to make them chew but i do always have something for them to chew on. Great looking rack!
